Gearbox
A technical workshop on “harsh nonlinearity” was hosted at the HQ of Romax Technology in Nottingham on 20 November 2013. The event was attended by both academic and industrial partners working on harsh nonlinear problems mainly focused on the topics of impact and friction combined with vibrating components. Applications included gearboxes and turbines. The workshop also included an interactive discussion on future topics and ideas for further development in the project.
